Third straight win for her IPL team after a terrible start, so is their luck turning?
Looks like Preity Zinta's IPL team Kings XI Punjab is finally playing like a team. They scored a masterful victory over the Delhi Daredevils at the match played in New Delhi today (April 11), winning by seven wickets. First they restricted the Delhi team to just 111 runs, and then reached 112 for the loss of just three wickets in 18.4 overs.Preity's team is still at the bottom of the points chart, but they now have four victories from 12 matches played.
Preity was at the stadium cheering her team today, wearing her customary Kings XI red T-shirt and light blue jeans, and a team cap to top it all. She'd been excited about this game, having tweeted yesterday, "Really looking forward to the game with delhi tomorrow as it is a great team ! My first day match ! Hope it is an exciting and rocking one !"
It turned out well for Preity, but we think IPL fatigue might be setting in for the star. She's also said, "Waiting for the IPL to finish so i can go for a holiday and then get back to movies! I need to re inspire myself and recharge my batteries!" Well, the IPL tournament ends in about two weeks, let's see if Preity's team makes it all the way to the end or not.
