Kangna Ranaut injured her foot while riding a bike for a scene in Aanand L Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu. The bike skidded and she injured her foot, resulting in a fracture.
The injury has delayed her shooting schedules and dubbing schedules. She was supposed to dub for Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, followed by Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai but now the line-up will have to be changed because she cannot go to the studio. Emraan will dub first.
Kangna Ranaut plays a fashionable movie star of the 1970s in the movie which will release at the end of July.
Director Milan Luthria says, ‘Kangna’s health is of utmost importance and the dubbing can happen anytime. She was supposed to start from April 10 but Emraan will do the dubbing before her now.’
He adds, ‘I have been in touch with Kangna since her injury. It happened in Jalandhar and she has chosen to recuperate in her family home in Himachal Pradesh. The mountain air will do her good. The delay will not disturb our film. She has consulted her doctor and she will let me know when she can dub for the film. We will make all the necessary plans. There’s nothing to worry about.’
Kangna also has to finish the shooting schedule of Tanu Weds Manu and return to Mumbai to promote Kites and dub for Knock-Out and start some new films. Her spokesperson said that she was better and would return in a few days.
