Bollywood actor Salman Khan arrived in Sri Lanka today (23) to film his latest movie, Ready.Khan has decided to shoot his next movie in Sri Lanka despite a threat to boycott his movie by the South Indian film industry.
He had decided to shoot the movie, Ready, which was initially to be shot in Mauritius, after he visited Sri Lanka to attend the Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards earlier in the month.
Following his visit to Sri Lanka, Salman Khan had convinced Ready producer Bhushan Kumar and director Anees Bazmi to shoot the film in Sri Lanka instead of Mauritius as planned earlier.
During the period of the shooting, Khan is expected to remain in the island for about 40 days.
The film is expected to be shot at two luxurious resorts in the country.
