Shahrukh Khan's New TV show Knights and Angels

SRK met the short-listed twenty four Angels at Mannat personally on Monday. These 24 girls will participate in the reality show Knights and Angels to be aired on NDTV Imagine. SRK met them enthusiastically and the girls were extremely excited on meeting the superstar. Red Chillies Entertainment, headed by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan is a company that is surging ahead in the entertainment industry. Shahrukh Khan who stared his journey from television has started television production under the banner of Red Chillies Idiot Box. SRK’ has found twenty four angels for his reality show Knights and Angels which is a talent hunt for Kolkata Knight Riders team for Indian Premier League (IPL ) presented by Sunsilk.It is the first time ever reality show which features only girls and winners be a team of 6 angels. The forms were available online on NDTV and Red Chillies website and the very first day they got 5000 hits and entries came form all over India. The 24 girls have been selected after auditions in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta and Bangalore. The parameters for their selection were dancing skills, inclination towards sports and over all personality and attitude. The objective is to encourage sports enthusiasts to take active interest in cheerleading and even consider it as a career option in future. These angels with be driving force for the Kolkatta Knight Riders when they will be fighting the battle in the Cricket ground and will also travel with the Kolkatta Knight Riders across the country. The show Sunsilk presents Knights and Angels will go on air from 28th February every Saturday at prime time. 24 girls will be mentored and trained by Shiamak Davar and Sourav Ganguly who is also the captain of Kolkatta Knight Riders team for IPL would be the judge for the show. Famous Celebrity Wives are all set to feature in an upcoming TV Show to be hosted by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. To be called “The First Ladies with Abu Sandeep” the show will start on January 3rd, 2009 .“The First Ladies with Abu Sandeep” will be aired on lifestyle channel NDTV Good Times from January 3. It will be telecast every Saturday at 10 p.m. and the first episode would have Nita Ambani as the guest.


From Bollywood celeb wives Jaya Bachchan, Gauri Khan, Suzanne Roshan, Manyatta Dutt, Adhuna Akhtar, Anupama Chopra, Tanya Deol, Kirron Kher to others like Maharani Padmini Devi, Nita Ambani, Neerja Birla and Usha Mittal - many will be seen on the show. They will talk about their private world and the challenges they face in being the wife of a successful man.

The celebrity husbands too will make an appearance on the show, which is being produced by Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.

Farhan Akhtar's Reality Show called Oye! Its Friday ! starts on NDTV Imagine at 10.p.m on 12 December 2008. It is a reality talk show ( much like Koffee with Karan) and its first guests are to be Hrithik Roshan, Punjabi Hip Hop singer Hard Kaur and Neha Dupia. Neha Dhupia is to perform to a song on the show and Hard Kaur will get the audience grooving to her hits like Move Your Body Baby and Talli Main Talli.

Katrina: I don’t believe in this concept. This year, which is my 24th year, I am beginning to accept that people have flaws. Nobody is perfect. But at the same time, I believe in and respect relationships. Then, the person has to be able to make me laugh, and the third factor is trust. I am putting trust in the end, because, these days, you cannot completely rely on trust. You have to go by your instinct.

Who is the most beautiful woman for Salman ?
Salman : I have met different types of beauty at different given times. Whoever I have gone out with or I am going out with now, is the one.

And the most good-looking man?
Katrina: Earlier I used to think that models were drop dead gorgeous. But today, I cherish a complete personality. But I cannot deny that Salman and I had an instant connection when we met. I thought he was a striking personality.

Neha Dhupia Drama Tamasha at TV Show

Neha Dhupia and Mandira Bedi's catfight caused a drama tamasha at TV Show Hasee Aur Hassena. Neha was upset as she felt that her saree was strikingly similar to that of Mandira’s. Apparently both Mandira and Neha were given red sarees, whereas Tanushree had to wear a yellow salwar kameez. When Neha realised that her and Mandira’s sarees were similar, she refused to wear it and insisted on being given another saree. When the channel authorities refused, she walked off the sets in a huff, shut herself up in her vanity van and refused to shoot. The channel and the production team tried persuading Neha to wear the saree, but Neha refused and suggested the option of wearing a western outfit, which she had with her. However, the channel refused to budge and decided to stick with the concept of traditional wear, because the episode had to be aired on Diwali. After much coaxing, Neha agreed to wear the saree.
