Shilpa Shetty's wedding photos - the Big Brother star married Raj Kundra on Nov 22 at Bawa Villa in Khandala, Mumbai. SHe was wearing a bridal outfit by Tarun Tahiliani and Jadau diamond jewellery. This blogpost also includes the post wedding photo session. They look very much in love.

Shilpa Shetty had turned down a deal from UK's Hello magazine for exclusive coverage of her wedding (including her sangeet and mehendi)

to Raj Kundra on November 22. The actress was offered approximately 75,000 pounds (over 50 lakh) in exchange for exclusive picture rights.

A source close to Shilpa says, "It's the first time than an Indian actress has been offered so much money for coverage of an event.

This is more than what Aishwarya Rai was offered for her wedding. Shilpa is a big celebrity in the UK

(thanks to her winning the reality show Big Brother) and Raj Kundra too is a well-known industrialist,

so they were keen to cover this wedding."

But Shilpa was very firm about refusing the magazine exclusive rights to her shaadi. She even avoided getting married in Raj's

opulent 10 million-pound mansion at Surrey in UK to stay away from the paparazzi. The source adds, "One of the

clauses in the contract offered by the international magazine was that no other photographers would be allowed

at the event. Also they didn't want any of the guests to carry their cell phones in case someone leaked the pictures to

other media. And Shilpa wasn't comfortable with both these conditions."

Also, she is not looking to make money on this wedding. It is a sacred and a

beautiful occasion for her, and she doesn't want any bad energy around."

Everything he did – involving the Gowani family members in his comic act, breaking into a jig now and then, breaking a bottle over his head like Devdas – brought in loud applause from the audience. SRK took a dig at himself too. “I have been married for 17 years but I still prefer my biwiover TV, since my Knight Riders are playing so badly,” he joked. It’s rumuored the superstar went home richer by an ‘obscene amount’ for the 30-minute act.

Those who are suffering from the blues of recession should have been present at the pre-wedding bash of Kanti Gowani's (Kamala Group) nephew, Nikhil and his bride-to-be Natasha. The exceptionally lavish bash had Bollywood megastars Shah Rukh Khan, Bipasha Basu, Rani Mukerji and Emraan Hashmi entertaining the 7,000 odd guests. While the event started with a breathtaking laser show followed by Shiamak Davar's dance troupe, it was Shah Rukh's act that was the night's big highlight, as expected. SRK apologised to the audience for not doing the regular dance routine owing to his shoulder injury. However, the delightful entertainer that he is, he did a stand-up comedy act which was fully paisa vasool.
