Main Aur Mrs Khanna is the story of  a young married couple very much in love but then thingsgo wrong.    Samir ( Salman Khan) and his wife Raina( Kareena Kapoor)  seem to have the perfect maariage. Samir has a good career, they are living in Melbourne. Then one wrong descision/mistake makes them part ways. Raina ( Kareena Kapoor) has an affair with a guy working in  a club ( Sohail Khan). A marriage counselor ( Govinda) helps them resolve the crisis in their marriage. Preity Zinta also has a special role ( cameo) in the movie. The movie is about divorce and the sanctity of marriage in todays times.

Storyline /Plot - The story is set in today's day and age. Billo (Irrfan Khan) plays a village barber. His business is running low because he has not been able to upgrade himself according to the changing trends. One fine day, a film unit visits his village to shoot a movie. It stars a superstar (SRK), who was once Billo's school friend. All at once, Billo's status in the village changes, and he becomes highly respected. Everyone wants him to meet the superstar. But Billo is unsure, as he feels he cannot compare to the superstar's status. Besides, he fears that the star may not recognize him. He makes many attempts to meet the star but fails. After all these hardships, he gives up. But people think that he lied about the relationship with the star and start insulting him. His family and children also get upset.

In the end, for an invited school function, the star reveals his past. He tells the audience that in his school days he had a friend who always stood by him in his hardships. He tells how much the friend helped him by providing food when he was hungry, provided clothes when he did not have any. He tells that the friend gave him the money to join acting by selling his ancestral ear ring and that friend happens to be Billo. At that time the people recognize about Billo and the movie happily ends.

The movie is about a slum boy who as a teenager trying to impress his girlfriend Latika wins Kaun Banega Crorepati ( where Anil Kapoor is the host instead of Amitabh Bachchan) wins the game show and tons of money. The movie has all the makings of a Bollywood masala but without that desi touch thats in a movie like Partner or Welcome or even Ghajini. Its more the viewpoint of a foreigner and how he views India through Bollywood glasses. Very Bollywood desi !!

I like Jiya Se Jiya the best. Anyway I would give it a 6/10 rating. Not all slum success stories are like this !! and its minus the usual Bollywood masala that a movie like Race or Ghajini has.
