Who insulted Salman's sister?

It's been celebration time for Salman Khan and his family with the success of 'Dabangg'. But in between all that partying there's been trouble as well. No, we're not talking about Salman's 26/11 comments controversy. This was more of a physical fight, and it happened when Salman's sister Arpita and brother Sohail were out at Olive, one of Mumbai's most popular hangouts.

It seems that Arpita and Sohail, as well as their sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan and her sister Amrita were sitting at tables next to each other. At an adjacent table was Mumbai-based builder Ashish Raheja, with lots of his friends.

Ashish and his friends were dancing very close to Arpita's table. And after some time, Ashish apparently spilt his drink on Arpita. When Arpita asked him about this, he told her that he could buy her table out, if he wanted to. This is supposed to have got to Sohail, who then started fighting with Ashish.

Wow! Bhai ho to aisa! But we're sure if Salman bhai had been around that evening, things would have been even more scary for anyone who dared mess with his sister!

Salman Khan hosted a party last night to celebrate Arbaaz and Arpita's birthday

Salman Khan hosted a belated birthday bash last night at a suburban night club to celebrate his brother Arbaaz (August 4) and sister Arpita's (August 3) birthdays.

Says a source, "Salman is thrilled with the response to the Dabangg promo and was in a mood to party. He decided to have a combined bash to celebrate the response to the promos and his siblings' birthdays."

Every year, Salman throws a big bash for his younger sister Arpita. Last year it was at a five-star hotel near his house in Bandra but this time, the venue was a Juhu nightclub. The party was delayed by a few days as some of Arpita's close friends were not in town.

Adds the source, "Salman gives a free rein to Arpita and lets her decide everything from the menu to the venue and the guest list."

Those who attended the party included Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Riteish Deshmukh and Dabangg heroine Sonakshi with her parents Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha. Aamir Khan left on Wednesday night for Australia to promote Peepli [Live] at the Melbourne film fest and couldn't attend.
