Wants five A-Listers (not newbies and nobodies) to star opposite her in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine
Kareena Kapoor, who stars in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine, has presented her director with a peculiar problem. She has apparently insisted that only A-Listers be cast opposite her in the film and not B-Listers and newbies, as is usually the wont in his woman-centric films.
Says a source, "Since the five actors to be cast will have to portray the industry's top leading men, they have to be A-Listers. Newcomers and B-Listers just won't do!"
The buzz is, Bebo is looking at Heroine as her National Award ticket and will ask her favourite co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan to contribute their star power to the film.
At the moment, Madhur is playing it safe. "We do need five top actors opposite Kareena in Heroine. It should not be a problem. We're trying to sort it out," he says.
