The lawns of the Turf Club on last Friday evening were witness to a dazzling display of stunning models with the Ford Supermodel Contest for the India rep. The event saw Kangana Ranaut as a a judge and the winner of the Grazia Ford Supermodel India 2008 was Sherin Sam and will represent India at the international event at Montenegro. G K Nair, Director, Gitanjali Group and Tarun Rai, CEO, Worldwide Media Pvt Ltd crowned the winner. Nair also gifted a diamond studded shoe to her. Aeshra Patel and Lekha Anantharaman were declared the first and second runner up respectively. Siddharth Kannan and Pracchi Shah were the hosts for the evening. The girls walked to the choreography of Fashion Director Marc Robinson, Rampwalk Trainer Alecia Raut. Dr Niti Desai was Nutrition and Diet Expert, Chandan Sparsh — Hair Styling and Shalini Singh, make-up expert.
Stunning performances by Shibani Kashyap and Nandini Jumani enthralled the audiences. The girls were adjudged by a jury panel comprising of Kangana Ranaut, Subi Samuel, Simran Kaur Mundi, Shahid Amir and Jon Ilani.
