Karisma Kapoor (Hindi: करिश्मा कपूर, born 25 June 1974), often informally referred to as Lolo,^[1] is an Indian actress who made her debut in 1991, and appears in Bollywood films. During her career, she has been part of many commercially and critically successful films, Raja Hindustani being the most notable of them, as it was her biggest commercial success, and won Kapoor her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She won another Filmfare Award and a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Dil To Pagal Hai (1997). She surprised critics and audiences with her performances in films such as Fiza (2000) and Zubeidaa (2001), for which she earned Best Actress and Best Actress (Critics) trophies at Filmfare. Since 2003, Kapoor has been less active in cinema.

Katrina’s skirt makes ripples in Egypt

Besides Salman Khan there is yet another bad habit that brings a bad name to Katrina Kaif and that is her love for short skirts. After the infamous episode of the actress wearing a mini inside the holy Sufi shrine of Ajmer sharif for a shoot in Vipul Shah’s ‘Namastey London’, the actress has once again spurred a wide controversy- this time on international shores. And it’s the skirt again. This time round the actress was shooting for yet another Shah’s movie ‘Singh is King;’ in Egypt.
The stunning actress was required to don a short skirt for a sequence in the movie and was shooting against the backdrops of the great pyramids along woth co-star Akshay Kumar when the local police arrived and raised it’s concern over Kat’s outfit.
Egypt that is predominantly a Muslim nation does not allow women to be seen in revealing outfits.
However, director Anees Bazmee managed to convince the authorities and went ahead with the shoot.

So much so for Kat’s love for short skirts.

Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar to rock at IIFA

They make one of the most desirable onscreen jodis in Bollywood. Now, they are set to perform together on stage for the first time.

Yup, Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar are set to team up for a sizzling dance performance at the finale of the upcoming IIFA weekend. Katrina has already been rehearsing for stage performances of her songs from Race .
Now, she will tag along with Akshay for a song from their forthcoming film Singh Is Kinng . Katrina has never looked as good with any other male actor in Bollywood as she has with Akshay in films like Humko Deewana Kar Gaye , Namastey London and Welcome . In fact, Akshay and Katrina share a very good chemistry off the screen as well.

Katrina was recently snapped leaning too close to Akshay at an IPL match between Delhi and Bangalore, sparking the rumours that something was probably brewing between the much-married Akshay and the yet-single Katrina. And now that they are set to shake their legs together at the IIFA, guess who will be missing from the event? Salman Khan . The three-day IIFA weekend will be held from June 6 to 8.
